Microsuction is the gold standard for earwax removal. It uses a gentle, low-pressure medical vacuum to clear wax. It is completely painless, though you will hear a slight rushing sound. Unlike outdated syringing, no water is used, completely eliminating the risk of ear infections.
A standard appointment typically takes 30 minutes. In our private clinic, we never rush you. This allows plenty of time for a thorough unhurried examination, the microsuction procedure itself, and a before & after video check of your eardrum.
We treat patients of almost all ages, from children (usually 4+) to the elderly. For young children, we assess on a case-by-case basis depending on their ability to sit comfortably.
Using medicinal olive oil drops (available at pharmacies) for 2-3 days prior to your appointment is highly recommended. It softens the wax, making the procedure even quicker and more comfortable.
We operate on a strict 'No Wax? No Fee' policy. If we examine your ears with our HD cameras and find they are entirely clear, the consultation is completely free.
Our primary service is conducted in our private, dedicated clinic located in Roxburgh Park. For patients with mobility issues or who are completely unable to travel, we also offer a premium mobile service covering the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.
We accept all major credit and debit cards via a secure terminal at the clinic. Cash is also accepted.
