Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of services provided by LAC Mobile Ear Cleaning (ABN: 52 196 421 365) ("we," "us," or "our"). By booking an appointment, you agree to these Terms.

2. Nature of Services

We provide mobile microsuction earwax removal and ear health consultations.

• Clinical Scope: Services are performed by a qualified Clinical Audiologist. However, we do not guarantee that the procedure will cure conditions unrelated to earwax, such as permanent hearing loss or tinnitus caused by other pathologies.
• Safety: We utilize gold-standard microsuction (no water syringing). While risks are minimal, all medical procedures carry inherent risks. You agree to disclose all relevant medical history (e.g., blood thinners, previous perforations) prior to treatment.

3. "No Wax, No Fee" Policy

We operate on a fair-use "No Wax, No Fee" policy to ensure you only pay for necessary treatment.

• The Guarantee: If, upon examination, the Audiologist determines there is no wax requiring removal, the standard appointment fee ($140) is waived.
• Exclusions: This policy applies to the consultation fee. It does not cover travel surcharges for locations outside our standard service area (if applicable) or late cancellation fees.

4. Pricing & Payment

• Standard Appointment: The fee is $140 for a standard home visit.
• Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, and Card payments via Square. Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

As a mobile service, late cancellations result in lost travel time and revenue.

• Notice Period: We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

6. Mobile Safety & Right to Refuse

• Environment: You must provide a safe, well-lit environment for the procedure.
• Pets: Please secure all pets prior to our arrival.
• Refusal: We reserve the right to terminate an appointment immediately if the environment is deemed unsafe or if the practitioner is subjected to abuse. In such cases, the full fee may be charged.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, LAC Mobile Ear Cleaning is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the cost of re-supplying the service.
