Absolutely. We believe in total transparency. We use a video otoscope to show you the inside of your ear on a screen before we begin. We explain every step of the Microsuction process as we go, ensuring you feel in control, informed, and comfortable throughout.
Most people find microsuction comfortable, although hard or impacted wax can cause some discomfort. Temporary dizziness can also occur. Let your audiologist know if you feel uncomfortable so they can pause and reassess.
No. We are an independent audiology clinic, so you can book directly with LAC Audiology online or by phone without a GP referral.
